Complex Issues About Our Complex

Safety & Security

Fire Safety

Recent Fire Prevention Bureau inspections revealed violations, such as missing quad hallway Fire/CO alarm (pictured).  To safeguard life and property, it is imperative that we have our own routine inspections and testing for all common elements safety equipment. This ensures the equipment is installed and maintained in accordance with established standards, and functions in the event of an emergency.

Shaft covers

Degraded and rusted shaft covers should be replaced.  Additionally, the new covers will aid in preventing the entry of insects, vermin, and unwanted elements such as rain and debris into the sewerage shafts.

Old intercoms

An old intercom prone to malfunctions is not just an inconvenience that prevents residents from buzzing visitors in.  It weakens the building's controlled access, potentially allowing unauthorized people to enter.  If there's an emergency, a broken intercom can cause delays getting help inside the unit .

Poor lighting in the outdoor areas

Good lighting in our walkways and driveways is crucial for both safety and security. It discourages trespassers and potential dangers, while also preventing trips and falls at night.

Watch your step!

To enhance the safety of our walkway steps, yellow reflective lines should be painted on the edges. This will increase visibility, especially in low-light or inclement weather conditions .

Sidewalk repairs

Our sidewalks by the gate entrance and around the complex should to be repaired to prevent stumbling, falling, and tripping.
